Let's talk my recent brand refresh, but ditch the stuffy jargon! Over the past year or so, I’ve taking a deep dive into who I capture (aka my awesome clients/you!), and let me tell you, they're way more amazing than just "golden sunlight and flowy dresses."

Diverse Stories Behind the Lens

Sure, I live for beautiful, coastal vibes, but life isn't all picture-perfect "blushing brides" and "hot girl summer" moments. (Been there, done that – we all have!)  Your wedding day is definitely worth cheers (!), and a confidence boost after life throws its curveballs? Hell yeah!

Over the years, I’ve found that the women I connect with are a beautiful mix of faces and stories — not just women in one particular era. We're talking about ambitious grads, boss babes running empires, mama warriors juggling it all, and everything in between! And, naturally, life isn't always sunshine and rainbows for these incredible ladies. We've all been there – the breakups, the losses, that nagging feeling of "am I even on the right track?".

But here's the magic: amidst the struggles, there are quiet victories, moments of fierce strength, and celebrations that might not make the highlight reel, but deserve a standing ovation!  That's where photography comes in. It's more than just capturing pretty pictures; it's about connecting on a real level, diving deeper than the surface.

Those "hot girl summer" posts? They may seem like superficial on the surface, but for someone who's been through the ringer, it could be a powerful act of reclaiming their confidence. And those family portraits? Sure, they celebrate milestones, but they also stem from deeply emotional moments, like supporting a loved one through illness or navigating a big life change.

From Glam to Raw: Here for It All

I've been so lucky to witness these raw, heartfelt moments firsthand – the new mom finding her rhythm, the woman embracing her independence, the couple finally holding their miracle baby.  These are the moments that move us, that make us FEEL – and these are the stories that inspire me to keep clicking that shutter button.

Life is messy, beautiful, and rarely goes according to plan. So, I'm tossing out the boring "wedding photographer" or "family portrait photographer" labels and embracing it ALL: graduations, career wins, motherhood adventures, solo journeys, and everything in between. Sometimes we crave the glam and makeup, other times it's all about embracing our real, unfiltered selves. Sometimes it's about family, sometimes it's just about us. And that's all perfectly okay - these are all moments worth celebrating.

Your Invitation to Embrace Your Story

So, my lovely ladies, I invite you to break free from the narrow definitions of what photography "should" be. Let's celebrate every chapter, every tear, every laugh, every triumph. Because we're all in this beautiful mess together, lifting each other up with every step.

P.S. Beach shots and flowy dresses are still very much encouraged, just saying!
